This is my first time starting meditation, want to use it as a tool to increase focus and concentration. Going to make a protocol which suits me, and a log of techniques I’m trying. Let’s figure this thing out.

types

Initial Protocol (mostly Rest/Walking mindfulness):

  • Sit/Walk for 10-15 mins at any time during the day.
  • Deep breaths.
  • Initially, focus on inhale/exhale when mind starts to wander.
  • Gradually focus on body parts. Focus on lowering heart rate.
  • If mind still wanders, then do chaotic breathing for first 10 minutes. Breath as fast and deep as you can.
